You know you've been playing too much GMod9 when...
« on: June 08, 2010, 10:50:24 pm »
I was watching Dave, and some advert came on for some cop programme showing on Watch. As I listened, I heard something rather close to my heart. The atmospheric noise you hear in rp_hometown1999. It was playing in that advert!

This isn't the first time I've done that. I have heard the wheelspin noise from HL2 several times on various programmes. It's getting ridiculous! That game follows me everywhere, I swear.

I've heard the glass breaking sound from Half life 2 on some random program about armoured vehicles, and they shot a window of a car while playing the sound  :s

Do you understand what I'm trying to tell you?

I'm hearing the elevator ding damn near everywhere.

It's all good news now, because we left the taps runnin', for a hundred years.

Often my thoughts digress to what i could do, with all the vehicles and streetposts nearby. Like making a giant vehicle monster thing, using thrusters.

Also, becoming a dick to noobs.

I frequently go on murderous rampages, shooting up schools, etc.

These activities are heavily linked to videogames, and Gmod 9 in particular, for lots of non-descript reasons.

When I thought I could survive a 1 million foot fall without a parachute, I was wrong.

When I thought a nailgun was a gravity gun, I used it on the cat.

When I thought the cops were stupid, I was wrong.

That's Possible as sounds are recycled.
E.G you hear the noise a unit makes when he is set on fire (in CnC) in some modern movies such as Transporter
You can't be motivated unless you're chasing a facist through a swamp with a pitchfork, that's how real men lead a revolution.
